Cooking with Grandma

Cooking with Grandma layout uses Free Spirit bulk papers with goldrush, and  card stock.  The brown is the back side of the stripe paper.  The flowery paper has a blue backside.  I stamped the Cooking and Grandma with a letter stamp set (no longer available to order)  The made with love in the right hand corner was from the "made with love" stamp set.  Letters were strung with hemp using liquid glass to adhere to the paper.

Happy Birthday

I love this You Rock paper from Close to my Heart.  I also made the candles using the "candlelight" stampset.  I stamped the right one on the B&T paper the other two on white paper and then colored in with markers.  The flames where stamped directly on the card (Middle one on paper then cut out)

Passages extra layout

Wondering what to do with that postage paper in the Level 2 pack of Passages?
Here is a layout using some of the extra's after doing the 2 page layout in the workshop on the go and the alternate and the cards.

What to do with old buisness cards??

Okay so I moved and now have a new phone number and about 300+ business cards that I can't seem to throw away.  And I don't really want to cross out and rewrite the info on them (Lazy I guess) so this is what I came up with. A mini accordion album.
I used Passages paper  leftovers (And I do Mean Leftover scraps)
This one I attached with paper (See below) instead of ribbon.

Layout as many cards as you want (size 2" x 3 1/2") you can use cardstock too if you want.
Glue ribbon down with a little space between each card (if you don't it won't fold up nice)
Sandwich the cards over the ribbon and really glue well on the edges!!
Decorate embelish as you would like.

If you tie the ribbon it becomes a mini book.

Clear card

Here is my first clear card
I use close to my heart "a sip" stamps set ($7.95) and the new magnifique level 2 paper.  Also using stays on brown ink and the Sep stamp of the month "thriller" (I cut out the vampire in the middle before stamping but you could mask it with tape)
Also I love the new colored pearls as accents

By the way heat embossing doesn't work well on these cards (it deforms the the card and can easily scratch off (I tried above the cup for clear steam didn't work)
